Sightseeing of Combarro,a fishing village in Rias Baixas; The old town has the Hórreo(granary on stilts), the fisherman’s house and the Cruceiro (crucifix), which represent the three traditional architectural elements of Galicia. The Hórreo(Espigueiro in Portuguese)are the same as those from the Soajo village in the Minho region of Portugal, which I visited earlier. In Soajo Village, they are installed on a small hill, while in Combarro they are lined up along the coast. The size and design are slightly different. The old town of CombaroThe old town of CombaroCruceiro is the third of the three traditional Galician architectural elements in the old town of Combarro. Cruceiro is in a slightly open place. In this Cruceiro, it is said that the statue of the Virgin faces the sea and the statue of Christ faces the land, but it is difficult to photograph.
