Bali is a very fantastic island. Balinese are in belief of Hinduism. It was brought from India long ago, but it is different from the original one because Balinese has been mixing the original Hinduism and their native believes.
In Bali, there are many temples which have curious statues made out of stone or wood. Some of them were painted in red, black and gold, of cause, gods of Hinduism. And every temple has long tall gates engraved many gods of Hinduism.
Balinese are artistic people. They are excellent painters, engravers and musicians. We sightseers can get their works easily and reasonably because they are sold at souvenir shops. And we can hear their music called Gamelan at the garden of the hotel where you stay.
When you walk about some city in Bali, you find small and strange ornaments. Balinese set a little food and flowers in the cup made from bamboo rind. Balinese give them to fairy who lives in the underground or the corner of the road in order to escape unluckiness.
